SICK :(

This weekend is President's Day weekend. That means I have a 3 day weekend and I'M SICK! Started not feeling well Friday night. I have a horrible cough, aches and sweats. So I am getting ready to go to the doctor. Hopefully he can give me something to make me feel better. You know I am sick when I just lay around. I pray to feel better real soon! So this weekend was not very productive...like they usually are!

Logan the Basketball Star

Today I went to my niece Logan's basketball game. She is not bad! This is the first year she has ever played. One funny thing about the game is ...she is ALWAYS the first one up and down the court. Way to go Logan! She gets a great work out! Just watch the video. You will quickly figure out which one she is.

SNOW!!!!

It sure has been a crazy couple of days. I can say that I have gotten 2 snow days! It is snowing so hard right now...I am thinking we could have a delay tomorrow. I guess I should just be glad I am off today. Jerry and I will pick up my parents on Saturday at the airport. They have been in Florida for 3 weeks...I think I would stay.

Logan the Baker

Tonight I picked up my niece Logan from Daisys.  Daisys is the beginning of Girl Scouts.  So their group had a  field trip to the Cake Ladies in Springboro.  Each Daisy got to ice and decorate their own cakes. Well....I have to admit that I thought Logan's was the best, of course.  She did a great job. She iced her cake perfectly, decorated the top with a daisy and then put her name on it.  Great Job Logan!  Obviously she got her talent with cake decorating from Grandma Rose.  Keep up the good work Logan.......maybe some day you will be a famous "Cake Lady" like your Grandma Rose.

end of quarter

Back to work after a nice 4 day weekend.  It has started out busy. This is the end of the 2nd Quarter and 1st Semester. Boy how the school year flies. So with all the delays and days off...trying to get all my students caught up and all work finished, PLUS graded by this Friday. So I will be busy with the end of the quarter.  I guess my weekend will consist of  getting all grades done, so they can be posted on Monday.

crazy weather

It has been a few days since I have wrote. The week and weather have been crazy. The wind chill has been anywhere from 10 to 30 BELOW! The tempature has been anywhere from 23 above to 15 BELOW! Now that is crazy. Today, Saturday..it is going to be about 28 degrees above. That is going to feel like a heatwave. So I have had several school delays and was lucky to be off on Friday due to the wind chill. So that is making for a nice long weekend..since Monday is a holiday and there is no school. So I plan on getting some household chores done....and relaxing. I love long weekends :)

I just got back from the grocery store. All stocked up and hoping for a snow day...HAHA...
The weather people haven't been right yet...so I am not getting my hopes up. If we get one it will be a plus. I will let you know the outcome tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me :)
